JULY MEETING

Meeting 7th July,
Speaker: Senior Vice President David Parnham.
David will give a short talk on his trip to Tasmania and to Cairns, after which he will give a talk on Hanging Basket Ferns, his favourites, and the best species to use in different growing conditions.

AUGUST MEETING (AGM)

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
At the AGM all office bearuing positions will be open for re-election. We shall be looking to fill the positions of Secretary and Treasurer.
Nominations will be accepted at the June, July and August Meetings, at which a nomination form will be available.
After the AGM a General Discussion will be held, and members are asked to bring a favorite fern or other plant with which to participate in this discussion.

At the time of writing, we are hoping to have a guest speaker to talk on shade and glass houses.
Failing this, John will give an illustrated presentation of his recent trip to Singapore!

GARDEN CLUBS & SOCIETIES FAIR

The Fern society will be participating in the Garden Clubs & Socitietes fair. SOUTH PERTH COMMUNITY CENTRE, cnr South Tce & Sandgate St , South Perth Sat 7th 8:30am to 4pm Sun 8th 9:00am to 2pm Entry is $5.00 The WA Fern Society will have Ferns for sale |
